Job description

Reports to: Head of Lettings
Department: Lettings and Management
Location: 24 Charlotte Street, London, W1T 2ND.
Tenure: Permanent
Hours: 40 per week (or as required to ensure duties are successfully accomplished) Monday-Thursday: 08.50-18.00
Friday: 08.50-17.30

Weekend work is shared with other team members on a rota system to manage incoming leads and carry out property inspections. Time off in lieu is provided to ensure a balanced schedule. Full details will be discussed during the interview process.

Job purpose

To work with the lettings team to create the strongest and most successful lettings division within London’s West End.  To work exclusively with our landlords to provide the best levels of customer service to attract the best tenants and hit the monthly targets agreed. Helping and assisting other team members and stepping up to assist the lettings manager both when they are away on holidays and day to day helping with instruction generation and valuations. To grow within the business as we expand.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Managing tenant enquiries, updating landlords and negotiating deals and undertaking upper level checks on tenant offers to make sure they are bonafide and not secret short letters.
  • Assisting Lettings Manager in reporting to landlords, helping/guiding junior members and admin staff to perform and enjoy being part of the same team.
  • Working with the PM team to make sure managed properties are ready for occupation.
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, ensuring property, client, applicant, tenant, information is always up to date and accurate.
  • Cover for Lettings Manager on leave of absences from work. Including taking control of their duties during these periods.

    • Qualified Professional: ARLA qualification (or similar) is highly desirable.
    • Customer-Focused Star: You take pride in delivering outstanding service every single time, exceeding customer expectations and building lasting relationships.
    • Effective Communicator: Strong business writing skills, with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
    • Tech-Savvy: Ideally, you’ll have experience with software like Reapit, AREA, and Microsoft Office, plus a willingness to master new tools.
    • Time Management Pro: Punctuality and efficiency are essential—lateness and tardiness simply won’t do!
